情报学学科发展现状与问题浅议

Research on the Development Status and Problems of Information Science

情报学是研究信息及其运动规律的学科,自学科建立以来其学科结构处于不断调整之中,关于学科内涵和范围的讨论一直是学科发展的重要议题。文章通过文献综述,从分析情报学的学科源头入手,梳理了信息及情报学的范畴、学科结构、热点领域和前沿领域,并阐述了情报学学科发展存在核心概念认识不一致、理论不成熟两大问题,进而提出了推动情报学学科未来发展的若干看法。

Information science is defined as a discipline to research on information and its mediating principles. Since the foun- dation of information science, the disciplinary structure has been evolving dynamically and continuously, and discussion on the dis- eiplinary connotation and scope has always been an important issue. Through literature review, this paper describes the discipline sources of IS, and analyzes the scope, disciplinary structure, hot fields and frontiers of information and information science. Then, the paper notes that there are two basic problems involved in IS development ： divergence of opinion on core conception and theoreti- cal immaturity, and ends up with several suggestions to the future development of IS as well.
