摘要
大学新生的价值观教育直接关系到高等教育人才培养的成败。本文以美国加州大学洛杉矶分校的"同一本书"活动为例,探讨开展大学新生价值观教育的实践途径,并认为,要把大学新生价值观教育与大学文化建设结合起来,重视强化第二课堂的作用,加强学生的主体参与。
Values education for freshmen has a direct bearing on the result of talent cultivation in colle- ges and universities. This article takes for example "The Same Book" activity conducted in the Univer- sity of California, Los Angeles to discuss how to effectively teach correct values to first--year college students. The paper stresses that values education must be combined with construction of the collegial culture. Students must be encouraged to actively participate in out--of--classroom activities, which play a very important role in values education.
