On the Development of Pre-history Culture of Heji Area and Other Related Issues

河济地区在仰韶文化中期时文化面貌并不发达,到仰韶文化晚期和龙山时代早期时,随着气候向冷干转变,而迎来了发展的机遇,文化开始繁荣。濮阳高城的城墙最早为这一时期兴建。到龙山时代后期,随着一场长时期的大洪水的到来,河济地区的文化又走向衰落。

The culture of Heji area was not prosperous in middle of Yangshao Culture. But with the climate turning into both colder and dryer, it＇s culture was becoming more and more properous from late Yangshao culture to early Longshan age. At about the same time, the wall of Gaocheng at Puyang was built. By the late Longshan age, with the coming of the great flood of long period, the culture of Heji area was fading again.
