秦汉闾里户数初探

The Number of Household of LV LI in the Qin and Han Dynasties

根据近年来公布的简牍资料,可推测秦闾里可能以25户为标准。但由于拥有辽阔的疆域,不同区域的自然环境和社会环境有着极大的差别,政府在规划、设置闾里时,往往采取的是一种因时、因地、因事制宜的灵活性政策。故此,汉代并未严格按照一定的户数标准划分闾里。对空间固定的闾里而言,其内部人口数量的不断变化,势必会对其产生一定的冲击,导致闾里的人口规模及户数出现增多或减少的情况。故此,随着社会经济的发展,在原有规划整齐的闾里容纳不下逐渐增加的人口时,新的闾里甚至新形态的居住形式也就相伴而生。

According to the bamboo and wooden slips document, perhaps the number of household of LV LI was twenty-five in Qin dynasty. But the government of Han didn＇t enforce some strictly policies when they set up or reconstructed one new LV LI, because of the natural and social environments were very different in the very vast territory. So they adopted some flexible policies. The constantly changing population was bound to impact on it. As a result, the population and the number of household of LV LI would be increase or decrease.So, with the development of society and economy, when the regular LV LI can＇t accommodate the increasing population, the new LV LI or the new kind courtyards gradually grew up.
