摘要
从范式的不可通约性到科学语言的不可翻译性,库恩的"语言学转向"为人们从博弈论角度考察库恩论题创造了可能。巴瑞特运用信号博弈考察了原始术语语言之间的不可翻译性,在类比的意义上揭示出不同理论之间的不可通约性如何可能。通过对不可通约性的信号博弈模型的重构与分析,我们可以看到,科学实践的复杂性使得这种模型的类比论证效力受到了极大的限制。
Thomas Kuhn's "linguistic turn" creates a possibility of researching Kuhn's thesis of incommensurability from a perspective of game theory,shifting from the incommensurability between paradigms to the local untranslatability between scientific languages. By analogy with the untranslatabil-ity between primary term languages in signaling games, Jeffrey A. Barrett argues how it is possible that the incommensurability between scientific lan-guages might evolve. However, our analysis shows that the complex of scientific practice extremely limits the power of the analogical arguments from these signaling models.
