Solid content is one of the main design specifications for glass fiber sizing agents. It has a direct impact on the glass fiber production cost and quality. Through the statistics on the size pick-up and the testing of glass fiber quality,the author analyzes the effects of different solid contents in sizing agents on the glass fiber production in this paper,which would provide a feasible method for setting up an appropriate solid content in sizing agents.
