Music in Primary school is the key course to carry on the esthetic education to the students. With the deepening of the new curriculum reform, primary school music also need to advocate modern teaching methods, to improve the effectiveness of teaching. This article discusses five strategies to improve the effectiveness of primary school music teaching： to establish harmonious relationship between teachers and students, build efficient classroom atmosphere; fully prepared before class begin, master the rhythm of classroom teaching; rational use of teaching evaluation,inspire students interest in learning; make full use of modern means of teaching, encourage students to explore independently; combination of classroom teaching and extracurricular practice, improve the students＇ comprehensive strength.
