This event is called China＇s first pilot of farmland into market circulation and many people hope that it could be of significance to establish a nationwide unified land market be-tween urban and rural areas.However, the innovation of land system reform still confronts how to judge the nature of the land ownership,as well as how to understand its enlightenment to China＇s land system reform in the new peri-od. Based on the interpretation of the reason for the ownership dispute according to the evolution of relevant policy,this article explores the implication of so-called New Land Reform to land system reform in Chinese current society.
