Aristotle's Theory of Rule of Morals and Rule of Law

亚里士多德作为西方政治学的奠基者,他的德治观与法治观对我们具有重要的参考意义。无论是德治还是法治,在他的政治思想中都指向一个共同的逻辑,即理性的统治。但是,作为不同的统治方式,二者又具有各自的优势和弊端,结合亚里士多德的政体学说,可以看出德治与法治在他的政治思想中占据着不同的地位。亚里士多德的德治观与法治观体现了他对理想与现实的融合,根据理想与现实的不同情况采取不同的统治方式,以实现人类所能实现的好生活。

As the founder of Western Politics, Aristotle＇s theory of rule of morals and rule of law is of great importance for us. Both of them, in his political thought, have the same logic, the rule of reason. But, we can still see that rule of morals and rule of law occupy Aristotle＇s theory in different ways, by investigating his theory of regime and their different advantages and dis- advantages as different ways of rule. All in all, Aristotle＇s theory of rule of morals and rule of law are presented as his combina- tion of ideals and reality to attain the well-being under different circumstances.
