2008年以来台美经贸关系现状与走势

2008年以来,台美经贸关系呈现稳步发展的态势,其中贸易和投资总量不断上升,技术转移和研发以及双方互动机制等方面的合作日趋成熟。但同时,台美经贸关系中存在诸多问题,包括台湾的反全球化和自由化态势、美国经济实力的相对下降、美台经济关系的政治化倾向、"美猪"进口和知识产权争议等问题。通过对美台经贸关系的梳理我们可以发现,台湾对美国贸易和投资依赖逐渐转向对美国技术的依赖,经济关系是美台"特殊伙伴关系"的重要基石,同时美台经济关系中的问题在短时间内也难以得到解决。展望未来,美台双方出于政治目的,仍会将经济关系的深化作为突破政治关系的重要手段。

Since 2008, the trend of the Taiwan-US economic and trade relations has been steady. The total amount of trade and investment continues to rise, and technology transfer and RD cooperation as well as bilateral interaction mechanism have been becoming mature. Meanwhile, there are many fundamental or technical issues,including anti-globalization and liberalization movement in Taiwan, the relative decline of American economic power, political tendency of the US-Taiwan economic relations, ＂the US pig＂ trade and knowledge property disputes and other issues. We can find that, Taiwan＇s dependence on the trade and investment gradually shift to technology, and economic relations is an important cornerstone of the US-Taiwan ＂special partnership＂, while the problems is difficult to be resolved in short time. Looking ahead, the United States and Taiwan will continue to deepen economic relationsas an important means to breakpolitical relations.
