The Creative Conversion Of The Old Industrial Building Heritages—— Shanghai 1933 Old Millfun Conversion Design Exploration

中国城市产业结构布局的调整使城市中心的大量工业建筑被废弃,亟须得到功能置换更新。本文选取了工部局宰牲场(1933老场坊)的改造作为主要的研究样本,从多角度深入探讨工业建筑改造更新的设计思路和设计手法。

Due to the adjustment of industrial structure in Chinese cities, a large number of industrial buildings in the center of Chinese cities were abandoned. Those buildings need to be reused imperatively. The main research sample of this essay is the rehabilitation of abattoir of S.M.C.P.W.D（1933 Old Millfun）, disscussing some new ways of thought as well as skills in designing about the reusing of old industrial buildings.
