摘要
应酬语是人们习以为常的社交文化习俗中不可缺少的一部分。但如果经常被误用,会导致社交语用失误。关联理论认为语言交际是一个认知——推理的互明过程,人们对话语的理解是一种认知活动。因此,运用关联理论来分析应酬语的辨识过程,能进一步探究因应酬语使用不当而导致的社交语用失误,从而对外语教学以及跨文化交际提供启示。
Considered as indispensable elements within the socio- cultural conventions according to which a group operates,phatic Communion is often misused,thus giving rise to socio- pragmatic failures. Relevance theory holds that speech communication is a process of cognition and reasoning,and thus the understanding of a discourse is a kind of cognitive activity. Therefore,it is feasible to adopt Relevance Theory to explore the process of phatic utterance interpretation,as well as to explain the reasons of socio- pragmatic failures caused by phatic misuse,and also offer some inspirations for the cross- cultural communication and L2 class.
