地铁是社会城市发展的产物,也是一个国家城市物质文明繁荣的一个标志。纵观世界各地,不同城市的地铁文化有着不同的特色。1969年,我国第一条地铁线路在北京建成,拉开了中国交通发展的新篇章。当今时代,我国地铁蓬勃发展,在多座城市开通运行,地铁已成为我国城市化发展过程中不可或缺的重要交通工具,几乎与国际水准接轨。随之而来,地铁空间成为城市公共空间的一个重要组成部分,地铁空间公共艺术也越来越受到人们的关注。随着地铁线网建设的发展,越来越多的城市选择在地铁中设置公共艺术品,将地铁作为展示城市文化与艺术的新平台,使地铁中的艺术氛围越来越浓厚。

In 1969,the first metro of China completed in Beijing.It leads China into a new era of the transportation develepment. In the present times, China＇s thriving metro launched in many cities. In our country, the metro, which is almost with the international standard,has been the indispensable important traffic tools in the process of urbanization. Followed, the metro space becomes an important part of urban public space, the metro public art is getting more and more people＇s attention. Along with the development of the metro network construction, the public art has been displayed in the metro of more and more cities, it will be the new platform to exhibit the city culture and art. The artistic atmosphere of the metro will become denser.
