The preventive maintenance is crucial for ensuring quality and safety of medical equipment. According to our survey and references, the preventive maintenance of medical equipment is in its initial stage. There exists an imbalance of development among different areas in our country. This paper explores the ways to improve the preventive maintenance of medical equipment to ensure its safety and quality according to the contrast of medical equipment preventive maintenance at home and abroad.
