The gravity retaining wall with extremely high loading capacity is currently the most widely used retaining and supporting structure in slope strengthening projects. With the development of science and technology,it happens often when the height is more than 11 m and the load is greater than automobiles- 30 level in the slope support project of mines. The paper thoroughly introduces the key technology,special requirement and application cases of the gravity retaining wall with extremely high loading capacity,and can be referred to in project designs of similar mines.
