A Probe into Origin of Ancient Characters of the Shuis

本文从水族的历史、族称、文字书写迹象以及水族的历史文化习俗等方面 ,对水族古文字作了考察 ,认为水族古文字与古汉字的甲骨金文同出于一个文化母体 ,它与殷商文字有一定的联系 ,是先秦时从古文字分化出来的一种古字。在此基础上 。

This article investigates ancient characters of the Shuis from aspects of the Shuis' history,ethnic name,handwriting as well as cultural customs etc.The author holds that ancient characters of the Shuis and that of the inscriptions on bones or tortiose shells have the same cultural parent and on this basis the former gradually formed its own unique character system.
