There are uncountable Chinese and English words and they possess quite different information due to some factors. Though words on colors are a little part in the ocean of words, their symbolic meanings can reflect different cultural, historical backgrounds and people＇s aesthetic psychology in China and western countries. The article probes into the similarities, differences and integration of color words through cross-culture prospective.
