The new English curriculum standards point that ＂students should constantly broaden their cultural horizon, deepen the understanding of national civilization, and develop cross-culture communicative ability.＂Therefore,in senior high school English teaching, teachers should gradually pass the western culture and literary to students to broaden their cultural view and develop their cross-culture awareness. Teachers should arouse students＇ learning interest through different angles, enhance their artistic appreciation, and realize the basic goal of English teaching.
