构建基础英语教学“四接轨”体系

Constructing a System of “Four Connections” for Basic English Teaching

在英语素质教育与应试教育之间矛盾日趋突出的大环境下,我国基础英语教学面临严峻挑战,进一步深化英语教育教学改革势在必行。针对基础英语教学应试化、功利化现状,依据英语教育教学规律,本文提出构建基础英语教学"四接轨"体系的理念,旨在理顺基础英语教学中"学"与"教"的主体间性关系,理清实现英语素质教育的路径与方法,在我国基础英语教学中提倡与先进教学理念接轨,创建全新英语教学模式的高理念教学;与相邻教学学段无缝接轨的无缝式教学;教学与生活接轨,融语言教学于生活之中的溶解式教学以及教学与学生未来发展接轨的愿景式教学。"四接轨"体系的构建是一项系统工程,是一种具有现实意义的基础英语教学改革的尝试。

It is a must for the national Basic English education to have further reform when it is confronted with the severe challenges of choice to be made from either a test-oriented education or an English quality education. Against the current situation of the utilitarianism in basic English teaching,and based on the laws and principles of English education,we put forward the idea of constructing a system of＂four connections＂for the national basic English teaching reform. The proposal holds that only through the connections of English teaching to the advanced English education ideas,to a higher level English education,to students＇ everyday life and to students＇ career planning,can we achieve the purpose of improving students＇ ability of comprehensive English language application and constructing the English education for students＇ all-round development instead of exam-oriented English education. Furthermore,it is a systematic project for a meaningful basic English teaching reform.
