五四女性文学的情爱主题的写作既是对个性解放的时代总主题的呼应 ,同时又没有丧失女性性别体验的真实表达。由于五四时期女性表达话语的失构和女性意识的稚嫩 ,这种性别体验还必须裹挟在主流话语当中 ,以一种或边缘或隐形的文本形式浮出历史地表。但是这已经鲜明地勾勒出五四女作家由“觉醒”到“自觉”进程中的女性意识 ,从一个侧面反映了女性意识发展初期的阶段性特征。

The writings on emotion and love of Wusi female not only echo the general theme of individuality liberation,but also truly describe the gender experience of female.In that period,due to the female's failure in expressing themselves and the unmature of the female consciousness,such kind of gender experience appears in form of edge works or invisible works in the main expressing streams.However,these writings have clearly excavated the female consciousness of Wusi female writers who were in their changing process from 'Awakening'to 'Awareness',reflecting the periodic characteristics in the beginning stage of the development of female consciousness from one side.
