Challenges and Reflections for College English Teachers under the Background of Undergraduate Professional Education

近年来,随着本科职业教育被提升为现代职业教育体系中的重要一环,大学英语课程的改革迫在眉睫,而教师队伍建设是一个不可或缺的关键因素。由于教学内容过分倚重统编规划教材,大学英语课程很容易脱离各校培养专业型、技术型人才的目标,同时也给教师个人发展带来巨大压力。因此,思考探求大学英语教师的发展途径,加强整体队伍建设,对大学英语教学改革具有重大的促进作用。

In recent times, since the undergraduate professional education has been an important part in the system of modern professional education, the reform of college English curriculum have become extremely urgent, while the construction of teachers team is a key factor which can not be ignored. Due to the over dependence on the same textbooks, the college English curriculum are very easy to diverge from the goal to cultivate the professional and skillful talents, and it also brings great pressures to the teachers＇ personal development at the same time. Therefore, it will significantly promote the college English teaching reform to reflect and explore the development paths of college English teachers and to strengthen the whole team construction.
