摘要
高中英语课程标准对阅读教学提出了更高的要求,但教材的滞后性不利于完全实现这一目标。网络时效性资源是指通过互联网所获取的紧跟时代发展、反映时事变化的即时性学习资源,具有时代气息强烈、生动有趣、题材广泛以及语言地道等特色。这一新型学习资源,通过鼓励学生自主阅读,教师精心遴选分类,学生在线讨论及恰当融入英美文化元素等方式,必将提升学生自主学习能力,激发学生阅读热情,增强学生跨文化语篇理解能力,成为阅读教材的有益补充。
New English Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools sets higher requirements for English reading course, but the time lag of the present textbooks poses a problem in fully reaching the goal. Online timely resources refer to any English materials that can be used in teaching reading and can be obtained easily on the Internet. They keep up with the times and are interesting and instructive. What's more, they involve various topics. With the rapid development of the Internet, English teachers should take full advantage of online timely resources. They are valuable supplements to the textbooks, which embody English cultural knowledge, contribute to broadening students' view, and facilitate students' cross-cultural reading comprehension. Teachers are also advised to select reading materials carefully and accordingly.
