The incidence of osteoporosis is rising,the research of traditional Chinese medicinein the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis has become a hot research topic in recent years. This paper reviewed the Cistanche deserticola in the prevention and treatment ofosteoporosis of the role and related mechanisms,and provide a reference for the further research of Cistanche deserticola in treatment of osteoporosis in the field.
