Jewish literature played an indispensable role in American literature after the Second World War. Therefore, it became one of the most important fields in which many scholars made research. This article analyzes and discusses the motif of ＂suffering and redemption＂ and ＂fathers and sons＂ to reveal the Jews＂ living confusion and difficulties, and to reflect the Jewish people＇s survival crisis.
