善于总结经验,是党的领导的一个重要方法 ,也是使党的领导能够保持正确的一个重要环节。毛泽东倡导要善于总结经验,它的精义在于坚持真理、修正错误。在新的历史时期,邓小平十分重视善于总结经验,要求每走一段就要总结经验。总结经验要善于坚持和运用马克思主义的立场、观点、方法,坚持马克思主义的基本原理与中国实际相结合的正确方向;要对当前存在的主要倾向作出准确的判断;自觉运用批评与自我批评的武器。

Doing well in summing up experience is one important methods of the Party's leadership and an important part to maintain its correct leadership.
