An Analysis of Chaozhou Industry Undertaking Ability Based on SWOT Model

利用SWOT模式对潮州承接产业转移的能力进行分析,潮州在地理位置和自然资源、劳动力价格、地区特色产业基础以及内外交通系统方面具有相对优势,但仍存在区位发展不明显、产业结构不理想、经济水平落后、高层次人才缺乏等劣势,面临的机遇是珠三角地区进行产业转移和各级政府的政策扶持,而面临的挑战是周边园区的竞争和外来企业难以扎根本土。因此,潮州在承接产生转移方面,要结合本地产业体系有选择地进行产业承接,协调经济与环境的关系,加快配套设施建设,积级培养和引进人才。

Based on SWOT model, the article analyzes the ability of Chaozhou to undertake industrialtransfer. Chaozhou has a relative advantage in the aspects of geographical position, natural resources, laborprice, regional characteristic industry base and internal and external transportation system. But there are thefollowing disadvantages： regional development is not obvious, the industrial structure not ideal, the economiclevel backward, the high level talents insufficient. The opportunity ahead is the Pearl River Delta region＇s in-dustrial transfer and government policy support at all levels. The challenge is the competition of the surround-ing areas and the difficulties of foreign enterprises to take root in the area. Finally, the article points out thatChaozhou industrial undertaking should be combined with local advantage industry system, coordinate the rela-tionship between economy and environment, accelerate infrastructure construction, actively cultivate and intro-duce talents into the area.
