国际脊柱外科领域中相同贡献作者情况的调查分析

An investigation on authors with equal contributions in the field of spine surgery

[目的]在一些医学领域中,共同第一作者和共同通讯作者等对研究具有相同贡献作者的情况越来越多见。然而,在脊柱外科是否存在这种现象目前仍不清楚。本研究的目的是调查主要脊柱外科杂志中相同贡献作者的比例和特征,分析其趋势及其原因和存在的问题。[方法]选取国际脊柱外科3本主要的专业杂志,包括The Spine Journal、Spine和European Spine Journal。利用手工浏览杂志官网和翻阅纸质期刊的方式,获取2006～2013年发表在这3本杂志上有相同贡献作者的文章。统计相同贡献作者的数量、位置、作者总数、发表时间和地区分布。[结果]在这3本杂志中均发现相同贡献作者的情况,并且2013年发表的文章中相同贡献作者的文章比例均高于2006年（The Spine Journal,6.2%：0.0%;Spine,7.2%：0.5%;European Spine Journal,7.5%：0.8%）。每年发表相同贡献作者文章的比例呈现明显增加的趋势（P〈0.05）。相同贡献作者几乎出现在了每一个作者位置。其中,以前2个作者为最多。相同贡献作者的文章来自世界各地。然而,这三本杂志并没有在投稿须知中对相同贡献作者情况给出相应的指南。[结论]相同贡献作者的现象在国际脊柱外科中越来越常见。作者应该恰当使用相同贡献作者,而杂志应该提供相应的指导。

[ Objective] There is more and more joint authors with equal contributions to the research in several medical fields. However, it is not clear whether this phenomenon exists in the field of spine surgery. This study aimed to investigate the proportion and characteristics of authors with equal contributions in spine journals, and to analyze the trend, possible reasons and problems. [ Method] Three major international spine journals,including The Spine Journal,Spine and European Spine Journal, were included. The journals websites and printed journals were manually searched. The articles with equal contributed authors published in these 3 journals from 2006 to 2013 were identified. The number of authors with equal contributions, the position, to- tal number of authors, year of publication and region distribution were analyzed statistically. [ Result ] Authors with equal contri- butions were found in all the three journals. A greater proportion of authors with equal contributions was found in 2013 than that in 2006 （The Spine Journal,6.2% vs 0.0% ; Spine,7.2% vs 0.5% ; European Spine Journal,7.5% vs 0.8% ）. There was a statistically significant increasing trend in annual proportion of articles with equal contributions for the three spine journals （ P 〈 0.05）. Authors with equal contributions were found in nearly every positions, and the first two authors were the most popular po- sitions. The articles with equal contributions were from various regions in the world. However, none of the instruction for authors in the three spine journals provided specific guidance on this practice. [ Conclusion] The practice of authors with equal contri- butions has been increasingly found in the field of spine surgery. Authors should apply it properly, and journals should provide related guidance to them.
