The government of the United States has issued a series of teacher education reform policies to improve the quality of teacher education since the 21st century. Learning from the development trend of American teacher education policies, we should strengthen the guiding role of the state in teacher education, carry out the reform of teacher education training model to prepare high-quality teachers, increase fund to normal school students to attract more outstanding graduates to join teachers, and reshape the image of teaching profession to improve teachers＇ social status.
