摘要
探讨了优质模具材料对降低模具制造成本的重要意义,指出心部区域的横向冲击韧性是热作模具钢选材的关键属性,按NADCA#207等国际先进标准验收的"超级优质(Superior)级"热作模具钢可以保证优良品质。介绍了长城特钢对炉外精炼、电渣重熔、均质化处理、多向锻造、特殊球化退火热处理等先进工艺技术的研究,CGH13、CT344、CGS-61等超级优质热作模具钢具有达到甚至优于进口模具钢的实物质量,适用于要求材料韧性好、抗热疲劳性高的压铸模和热挤压模具等苛刻用途,采用超级优质模具钢是提高热作模具寿命的保证。
In this paper, the significance of high quality mold steel for reducing the manufacturing cost of moldwas discussed. It was pointed out that the transversal impact toughness of the central area is the key nature for selectionof mold steel. The superior high quality hot working mold steel accepted according to the advanced standards, such asNADCA#207, has excellent quality. In addition, the advanced process technologies, such as secondary steelmaking,ESR, homogenization, multi-directional forging and special spheroidisation in Changcheng Special Steel Company(CSSC) were described. The CGH13, CT344, CGS-61 superior high quality hot working mold steel produced by theCSSC possesses quality not poor than the imported mold steel, which are applicable to the fields where high toughnessand thermal fatigue resistance are demanded. It was concluded that the superior quality hot working mold steel is theguarantee for improving mold life.
