The particle ＂（ a） round＂coerces the component ＂MV＂of the construction＂MV ＋（ a） round＂in the process of meaning integration. The coercive effect is indispensable in that it adjusts and accommodates the motion path to make the meaning of the specific＂MV ＋（ a） round＂construction tend toward the prototypical one in the semantics of the very motion events. This paper discusses the process of meaning integration of this construction with data from the perspective of lexical coercion.
