我国目前出现了传统的农业、工业和先进的信息产业并存的三元经济结构。由于我国的信息产业崛起于二元经济结构，因此其发展不可避免地受到二元经济结构的制约。另一方面，信息产业的发展也有一定的独立性，从而使得信息产业能够对改造传统产业和优化经济结构发挥作用。但是，信息产业在促进传统产业升级的同时，也可能在某些方面制约传统产业的发展，并拉大城乡差距、工业化与城市化的差距。

The three-tiered economic structure made up of traditional agriculture,industry and information industry has come up in China. China＇s information industry bases on dual economic structure, so the development of it will be restricted by the dual economic structure. On the other, hand information industry can develop independently in some degree. So information industry will have a great help in rebuilding the traditional industries and promoting the economic structure. At the same time information industry will hamper the development of traditional industries in some aspects and exacerbate the distance between cities and countries, urbanization and industrialization.
