域外汉学与中国古乐的西传——以钱德明、伯希和、高罗佩为例

Overseas Sinology and the Westward Spread of Chinese Classical Music:in the Cases of Jean-Joseph-Marie Amiot,Paul Pelliot and Robert Hans Van Gulik

中国古乐西传是域外汉学的一大成就。近年来,尽管越来越多的学者开始关注此现象,但或者比较单一、零散,或者多从音乐本身的流传过程进行讨论,较少将相关对象勾连起来关注古乐西传后的文化变形并将其置于整个域外汉学发展的脉络及其对中国近代学术的反馈史中详尽考察。文章借助18世纪以来在西方颇有影响的三位汉学家钱德明、伯希和、高罗佩与中国音乐(包括乐舞)的结缘,在评述他们为中国古乐域外传播所做不同贡献的同时,分析这一现象所呈现出的汉学史背景、近现代中外学术之砥砺。

The westward spread of Chinese classical music is one of the greatest achievements of western Sinology. Although more and more scholars are paying attention to these achievements in recent years,most of them are mainly concerned about the spreading process of Chinese music itself instead of detailed investigation of its cultural deformation and its significance for Sinological development and the history of cultural exchange between China and the overseas. Through the Chinese music research of Jean-Joseph-Marie Amiot,Paul Pelliot and Robert Hans Van Gulik,the article intends to explore the background of Sinology,Cultural and academic communication of their devotion to the westward spread of Chinese classic music.
