摘要
在知识传播和教育传播等领域,知识可视化发挥着愈来愈重要的作用。虽然学界已经对其内涵、形式、方法等问题进行了深入研究,但对于其实现过程的研究,尤其从视觉传播角度展开研究的相对较少。实际上,知识可视化实现过程研究对于知识传播、教学实践以及信息资源开发都具有重要的理论价值和指导意义。本研究结合视觉认知原理,提出了视觉表征是以视觉符号为外在形式,视觉意象为基本内核,力的结构关系为驱动力的新观点;以视觉认知、视觉传播等理论为切入点,建构了由视觉思维、视觉图式、视觉意象构成的"三维视觉"联动知识可视化视觉表征过程理论框架和以"编码—代码—解码"三码转换为核心的知识可视化视觉传播过程理论框架,并整合和论证了其完整实现过程及运行机制,以期为知识可视化过程研究和实践提供借鉴与参考。
Knowledge visualization plays an important role in the fields of knowledge and education communication. Although many in-depth studies have been carried out in terms of its connotation, forms,methods and others, there are only a few studies on the process of how to implement knowledge visualization, especially from the perspective of visual communication. This type of study matters because studying the knowledge visualization process has important theoretical and guidance values in knowledge communication, teaching practices, and the development of information resources. Referring to the visual cognition principle, the authors offer a new understanding that suggests that visual symbol is the external form of visual representation, visual image is the basic kernel of visual representation, and force structure is the driving force of visual representation. Based on visual cognition, visual communication and other theories, this study constructs two theoretical frameworks: 1) a three-dimension visual representation framework of knowledge visualization process which consists of visual thinking, visual schema, and visual image; and 2) a visual communication framework of knowledge visualization process which the core is the transformation of encoding, coding and decoding. This paper discusses the complete process of knowledge visualization and demonstrates its full operating mechanism, in the hope of providing reference for the research and practice of knowledge visualization.
