南社先贤与近代云南

Nanshe Sages and Modern Yunnan Province

南社云南籍人士虽然人数不多,但在辛亥革命前后的革命宣传鼓动活动中,在历史发展的潮流中都推动了革命形势的发展。这些南社云南籍会员曾经从事武装斗争,并有一定的从政经历,特别是李根源、吕志伊、赵式铭等均是云南近代史上名声显赫的人物,他们无论在军事斗争还是文化领域的宣传鼓动方面,都作出了很大的贡献。

Nanshe members from Yunnan Province, though small in number, actively pushed forward the revolutionary course with their revolutionary propagation activities around the 1911 Revolution. Besides engagement in armed fights, these Yunnan sa- ges in Nanshe also gathered certain political experiences. Eminent figures in modem Yunnan history, such as LI Genyuan, LV Zhiyi, Zhao Shiming and others, devoted themselves to both military struggles and cultural propaganda.
