What is the role of motor quotient （MQ） against the general social background when the state commits itself to the development of campus football？ This paper analyzes social MQ issues with regards to students＇ physical deterioration and people＇ s prejudice against exercises. It further exploits the practical significance to revive campus football in terms of football population and football development basis. A conclusion is drawn that motor quotient is key to the new interpretation to campus football.
