陈独秀的辩证法思维方式贯穿于其一生的革命历程。这种思维方式在不同的阶段表现方式不同,有些时候也相互交织。进化论思想对陈独秀的影响深远,他认为进化具有永恒性和普遍性,有原始动力,也有终极目标且有规律可循;陈独秀的辩证法思想没有摆脱形而上学的框架,在社会发展观上将生物进化论与人类社会生活领域简单类比,在思想文化上陷入非此即彼的绝对对立,在社会革命认识上脱离中国实际;陈独秀的辩证法思想也离不开马克思主义唯物史观的影响,这种相互交织的状态,既反映了陈独秀本人思想嬗变的复杂性,也从某种程度上反映了当时中国社会的思想风貌。

The dialectical thoughts Chen Duxiu exist throughout revolutionary experience in his life.This way of thinking show different forms in his different life stages and sometimes they coexisted.The evolutionary theory deeply influences him and he believes that it is long lasting and universal with primitive dynamics as well as ultimate goal and rule to follow.His dialectical thoughts are not free from the framework of metaphysics.In the view of social development,he simply compares biological evolution with the evolution of human social life,thus falling into the trap of absolute opposition in ideology.In the view of social revolution,he is divorced from Chinese reality.His thoughts are also under huge influence of Marxist materialistic views.This interleaving reflects the complexity of the changes of his ideas and the ideological reality of Chinese society in his time.
