The Impact of Unconscious Thought Motive on Decision Qualities

有研究表明,受许多边界条件的影响,无意识思维效应并不总是出现。本研究认为无意识思维动机是无意识思维效应出现的动力源之一。基于以往无意识思维研究范式,本研究通过无意识理论知识学习以诱发被试的无意识思维动机,探究无意识思维动机对于决策质量的影响。结果发现,在两项决策任务中,高无意识思维动机组的决策质量均显著优于低无意识思维动机组。研究证实了无意识思维动机对于决策质量的提升作用。

Prior studies showed that unconscious thought effect was not stable in many boundary conditions. This study assumed the motive of using unconscious thought as a main factor by reviewing the unconscious thought paradigm to explore its impact on decision qualities in evoking participants＇ unconscious thought motive through learning unconscious thought theory. The results showed that the high-motive group outperformed the low-motive group in two different tasks, thus confirming the boosting effect of unconscious thought motive on decision-making.
