With the development of the times,people＇s material life is improved,and people ＇s spiritual needs are changed. Jewellery is now not simply a symbol of wealth and status. People begin to use it as a personalized display and personal emotion expression,rather than a simple ornament. This article analyses the design development status,trends and art performance of comprehensive material jewellery. In the modeling performance,material performance and process performance,modern comprehensive material jewellery design develops in pluralism. Based on the cultural, economic and aesthetic values, the development of comprehensive material jewellery design includes social value and significance. The analysis of this article shows that the synthetic material will not to be replaced in the development of modern jewellery design. The new use of the traditional materials and the continuous emergence of new materials have improved the development of comprehensive materials. The innovation,combination and re-creation of comprehensive material jewellery give more possibilities of modern jewellery development.
