Influence of Rubber Oil on the Properties of SEBS Composite Wires

摘要 采用充油填充工艺,以苯乙烯-乙烯/丁烯-苯乙烯嵌段共聚物(SEBS)为基体,与聚丙烯(PP)、三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)共混、挤出,形成充油SEBS复合线材,分析了石蜡油、环烷基橡胶油对SEBS复合线材的力学和加工性能、耐介质和耐热老化能力的影响。结果表明,与环烷基橡胶油相比,石蜡油使充油后SEBS复合线材强度的损失更少,更能改善SEBS的加工性能。随着配方中油含量的增加,SEBS复合线材拉伸强度下降,断裂伸长率下降,流动性能上升,耐介质能力和耐热老化能力在充油量是20%时最优。 By oil-extend crafts, ( styrene-ethylene/butylenes-styrene ) tri-block copolymer (SEBS) composite wires were prepared by mixing and extrusion with SEBS as matrix, polyethylene (PP) and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM). The effects of paraffin oil and naphthenic oil on the mechanical properties, processability, medium resistance and thermal aging resistance abilities of the SEBS composite wires were investigated. The results show that paraffin oil has a low strength loss-reduction than naphthenic oil and improves the processability better in the oil-extended SEBS composite wires; with the increasing of oil amount in oil-extended SEBS composite wires, the tensile strength and elongation at break decrease obviously, the flow performance improves, and the medium resistance and thermal aging resistance abilities are optimal by 20% oil addition.
