The New China's Achievement in Harnessing Huaihe River and Sustainable Development

新中国成立以来,淮河综合治理成效显著。由于地理、气候、历史等多方面的因素,淮河治理至今仍面临着诸多新问题,治理的任务仍很艰巨。本文在探讨淮河60多年综合治理成效的基础上,分析了新时期淮河治理面临着的诸多新问题及其原因,并从可持续发展的视角提出了淮河流域生态环境构建的对策与途径。

Since the founding of new China, the achievement was obvious in Huaihe River treatment. Due to geography, climate, history factors, the governance of the Huaihe river is still faced with many new problems, the task of governance is still very difficult. Based upon the achievement of more than 60 years of the Huaihe River treatment, this article analyses the new problems of Huaihe River management in the new period and their reasons, and puts forward some countermeasures for the construction of Huaihe River basin ecological environment.
