The imperial edicts of Emperor Wen,Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty were compositions produced with their specific identity.Although what were said in the rescripts were important events of national security,they reveal distinct differences not only in contents but also in the emperors＇ statecraft,political ideas,emotions and personalities.The edicts are artistic products with individual aesthetics as well as government decrees.
