Quality,the life and soul of scientific journals,is fundamental for their survival and development.However,the quality of scientific journals highly depends on the journal editors,who serve as important participant and organizer in the editing and publication of scientific journals.This article will discuss the relationship between the professionalism of editors and the quality of scientific journals from three aspects:professionalism of the editors in science,technology and knowledge,their language skills,and their comprehensive capacity.
