中国英语学习者显性陈述性标句词that习得研究

The Acquisition of Overt Complementizer that by Chinese EFL Learners

摘要 功能语类的习得是近年来二语习得研究的热点话题,本文以功能语类中显性陈述性标句词that为例,通过语法判断测试和汉英翻译测试考查了三组不同语言水平受试习得对该词类的习得情况,以进一步揭示二语学习者中介语语法的本质特征。结果表明受试能够成功设定that的特征值并习得该词,显性标句词的缺失是由深层特征值与表层音位结构之间的映射出现问题造成。此外,测试结果还表明随着受试语言水平的提高,测试的准确率也会相应地提高,这是由于语言水平的提高可以降低映射的难度。最后,不同结构的从句得分情况也有差异,而从句的正确率偏低主要是由于受试过度概括空标句词null-that造成的。 Functional categories are regarded as the focus in second language acquisition research. In order to investigate the nature of interlanguage representation, the acquisition of overt complementizer that by three groups of subjects with different language proficiency is studied. A grammaticality judgment test and a Chinese-English translation test were adopted in the study. The results show that the subjects can successfully set the features of that and the missing of it is the result of the mismatch between feature values and surface phonetic structure. In addition, the accuracy of the test rises with the increase in learners' language proficiency. Finally, the difference in the type of clauses results in different test results, which comes from the overgeneralization of null-that by the subjects.
