多模态教育语境下英语师范生多元识读能力的培养

Cultivation of Multi-literacy of English Majors in Multimodal Education Context

多元识读能力是在网络信息技术高度发展的社会文化背景下应运而生的一种新型识读方式和技能。它内涵丰富,外延广阔,既包括以语言为中心的传统读写能力,也包括以非语言符号系统为中心的多模态识读能力。其中,多模态识读是多元识读能力区别于传统识读能力的核心要素。因此,学生多元识读能力的培养关键在于提升其多模态识读能力。具体落实在教学实践中,教师可以采取课堂教学培养与课外活动提升双管齐下的培养模式,课内课外有机结合,有效提高学生的多元识读能力。

Multi-literacy is a new type of literacy under the social context in which network technology has highly developed.It is rich in connotation and denotation,including not only the traditional languagecentered writing and reading literacy but also the multimodal literacy centering on the non-verbal sign system,the latter of which is the key factor that differentiates the multimodal literacy from the traditional one.Therefore,the cultivation of students＇ multi-literacy lies in the enhancement of their multimodal literacy.As for teaching practice,we can employ a mode of cultivation in which both lines are worked：cultivation through classroom teaching and enhancement through extracurricular activities.Thus two ways can work together to improve students＇ multi-literacy efficiently.
