In the folk art of the Central Plains of China,tiger-headed shoes art is a very important component.It not only carries the generous and rough characteristics of folk art in the Central Plains,but also fills with mothers＇ love and yearning for a better life.Tiger-headed shoes have a strong artistic and cultural nature both in their form and their inner meaning.Therefore,this paper attempts to analyze the features of tiger-headed shoes as a folk art from the aspects of its idea generation,features of form,decoration techniques,manufacturing process,in order to inherit the traditional modeling methods and processes and to protect the intangible cultural legacy what is disappearing.
