西方大学精神的审美现代性反思

大学具有审美可能,大学之美首先在于其精神之自由、和谐和包容,现代性的强大力量正使西方大学之美面临危机。审美现代性是对启蒙现代性的反思和批判。西方大学陷于社会现代性的困顿中,其未来需要一种审美现代性精神,进而以领先时代的精神自由气质回归其美的规定性。大学的审美化认识,重建适应创新时代的大学学术观,超越大学的惯性,是西方大学的审美救赎之道。反思西方大学精神对我国在深化改革背景下把握高等教育规律,实现习近平总书记提出的"中国特色、世界水平的现代教育"这一高等教育的中国梦具有重要意义。

Universities have the aesthetic ideal,and the beauty of universities depends firstly on the freedom,tolerance and harmony of its spirit,while the powerful colonial forces of modernity are placing the beauty of university spirit in the midst of crisis.Aesthetic modernity is the reflection and critique of modernity.Thus,aesthetic modernity is needed in Western universities in order to obtain sensual liberation,and then return to the nature of beauty by the advantages of spiritual freedom.The ways of salvation of Western universities aesthetics exist in the enlightenment of aesthetic understanding,the rebuilding of academic views in accordance with the requirement of the innovation era and the end of universities＇ inertia.Reconsidering the Western university spirit helps us to grasp the law of higher education under the background of deepening reform,and can promote the realization of Chinese higher education dream of＂with Chinese characteristics,achieving the world-class level of modern education＂proposed by Xi Jinping.
