Economics of language studies the relationship and connections between language and economic variables using the methodology and tools of economics,analyzes the values of a language,and estimates the benefits and costs of language education,with an attempt to maximize utility and construct a linguistic ecology. It is of theoretical and practical significance to study the language planning of ethnic minority areas.
