In the paper,it is described the formation mechanism of steel sticking and bleed-out,the basic principle of breakout predict system as well as analyzed the main causes of false alarms. Moreover,the corresponding protective measures are increased to improve the accuracy of breakout prediction system and reduce blank with lapping defect so that the slab quality is improved.
