摘要
借助认知理论分析修辞造词的可能性,文章对汉英修辞造词的几种主要方式予以探讨,汉语信息类新词语的修辞造词主要分为比喻造词、借代造词、仿拟造词、对比造词四种,英语修辞造词主要分为隐喻造词、仿拟造词、夸张造词、借代造词四种。汉英信息类新词语的修辞造词方式印证:人类思维具有共同的认知模式,两种语言在进行修辞造词时有许多相同或相近之处,具备对比和研究的基础。
Based on the cognitive theory,this paper analyses the possibility of rhetoric word-formation and probes into some main word-building ways of Chinese-English rhetoric word-formation. The rhetoric word-formation of Chinese information neologisms mainly includes four word-building ways of metaphor,metonymy,parody and contrast,while rhetoric words in English mainly have four word-building ways of metaphor,parody,hyperbole and metonymy. Then it points out that the human mind has common cognitive mode,which is the basis of comparison and research between the two languages.
