In order to reduce borer hazard and increase maize yield, the article introduced morphological identification and occurrence rule of maize borer, and discussed the methods of agricultural control, physical control, biological control and chemical control of maize borer, in order to provide theoretical reference for occurrence, hazard and control of maize borer.
